Hope Christian Church is a place where everyone is welcome, and anyone can grow closer to God. We exist to help people find Hope in God, and we strive to do this by developing our relationships reaching up to God, reaching across to each other, and reaching out to those who don't yet know Jesus. We’re a church of imperfect people finding hope in a Perfect God. We are not about mere religion or a specific denomination, following God is much bigger than that. We are a body of believers who know that no single one of us is complete without the gift of salvation from the One who makes us whole. We are all about introducing people to the adventure that a life with Christ can bring and encouraging them to live a life of significance. We welcome you to join us as we follow Christ.
Since we know that attending a church for the first time can feel intimidating, we want to do everything we can to make your first visit to Hope a comfortable one. If you have children, we'll be glad to help you checked into our children's ministry.
If you've never been here, you might wonder what to expect.
- The service will start with contemporary singing led by our praise and worship team. The words for each song will be on the screen. Feel free to sing...or not.
- We promise not to embarrass you by picking you out of the crowd.
- We celebrate communion every Sunday. If you have professed Jesus as your Lord and accepted His gift of salvation, you are free to participate. If you don't, no one will call attention to you.
- We aren't after your money. When the offering basked is passed down your row, please don't feel any pressure or obligation to give. You are our guest.
- We always spend time on Sundays reading from the Bible. If you have one, bring it with you. If you don't, we'll have the text on the screen. The message is designed to be both biblical and relevant. We pray that you will discover what God is saying about real life.
- Most of all, we want to create an atmosphere where you can experience a personal encounter with God.
- The service will usually last about 1 hour.
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we hope that when you visit us you feel like you're at home.
