Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
The Teen Ministry of Hope Christian Church wants to reach out and involve any and all teens in an active and fun experience designed to help them grow closer to the God who created them and has real purpose for their lives. We want to connect teens to peers and adults who will be positive influences and true friends during these important years. We hope to emphasize to our teens that loving God and loving other people are the two most important things in life, and real life is found only through a relationship with Jesus.
Throughout the year we have Sunday school classes for 6th-8th graders and 9th-12th graders, each week at 9:30 in the teen room. We strive to present the bible as relevant and important to helping our teens get the most out of life. They’ll also have time to connect with friends and pray together.
Pulse is our Wednesday night teen program that meets each week throughout the school year (September – May.) This is our primary environment for teens to grow closer to God, learn about practical ways they can live for him, and experience fun times of worship and some wild games. We also have small groups for our teens each week as well.
In addition to our regular programs, we have several unique events and trips for our teens each year, such as the “Christ in Youth” conference in the summer, Round Lake camp weeks, service projects, and our HANNYEELIB overnight party each December.
Please contact the office with any questions or for more information on how you can get involved.
