Join the Women at Hope for their next weekly Bible study that will take them through the book of Revelation. For the last 2,000 years, the book of Revelation has given courage—not fear—to Christians around the world. In this 8-session Bible study, bestselling author and pastor Matt Chandler will explore the book of Revelation and what it's teaching us about the days we live in now, about the body of believers, and about Christ, our King. You'll visit each chapter in Revelation, discovering how Jesus, on His throne, has already secured the victory over the enemy and what that means to our generation today. As a member of the church that carries on the mission of the first churches, you are an overcomer—a believer who is empowered by the work and authority of Jesus Christ.*Books are available in the Atrium on Sundays and at each class. Please read the introductory material of Session 1 before the first class.*Childcare (up to 5th grade) is available at the 9:30am class. We never want cost to be the deciding factor for attending a Bible study. The rapid advance of digital technology is reshaping our world and warping our minds. The onslaught of social media and smartphones has brought an appetite for distraction, an epidemic of loneliness, and increased rates of mental unhealth. For Christians, the digital revolution has profound implications for spiritual formation and mission. How should believers respond to the theological and discipleship challenges of scrolling life?   This year's Men at Hope conference will be addressing these challenges. Make plans to join us for Digital Wisdom: Reclaiming Life in a Digital Age. We will hear from guest speaker, Brett McCracken, who has become a leading Christian voice in this arena.  Brett McCracken is a senior editor for The Gospel Coalition and a leading voice at the intersection of faith, culture, and the arts. For two decades he has written articles and books that have helped Christians love the church, understand cultural trends, and engage the arts with thoughtful appreciation and biblical discernment. In recent years his focus has been on how the digital age shapes souls and erodes wisdom. This emphasis began with his influential 2021 book, The Wisdom Pyramid, followed by a co-edited project in 2025, Scrolling Ourselves to Death. His newest book, The Wisdom of Sleep, doubles as a theological reflection on rest and a critique of our optimization-obsessed technological moment. (www.brettmccracken.com) Along with keynote sessions, we will also have breakout sessions and worship led by guest Worship Leader Gabe Sigmon. Registration also includes coffee + donuts in the morning, snacks throughout the day, and a Texas BBQ lunch. Each attendee will also receive a copy of Brett's book The Wisdom Pyramid.Registration is now open. Invite a friend, family member, or co-worker and join us on Saturday, October 24th, at 9:00am-2:30pm, at Hope Christian Church.Registration is $35 per person. The book of Galatians is one of the apostle Paul’s most impassioned and eloquent letters. Both accessible and theologically robust, this guide will help Christians find freedom in their identity as God’s adopted childrenJoin the Men at Hope every Wednesday, beginning October 28th, at 7:00am or 7:00pm. Over this 12-week study we will read and discuss the entire book of Galatians, verse-by-verse.
