Sugar Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar

¼ cup packed brown sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 sticks (1 c.) butter, room temperature

Instructions

• Preheat oven to 350

• Mix together the butter and sugars until combined and light in color, 2-3 minutes

• Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well until combined and smooth

• In a separate bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients

• Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and combine, do not over mix

• Scoop dough to desired size and roll in colored sugar
